Bournemouth in Bloom Horticultural Shows
Whether you're an experienced exhibitor, a keen gardener, a talented baker, a creative crafter or simply enjoy growing a few flowers or vegetables, our Bournemouth in Bloom Horticultural Shows are a wonderful opportunity to share your passion and be part of our friendly gardening community.
Each year we hold three traditional horticultural shows, welcoming exhibitors of all ages and abilities. You do not need to be an expert to enter – we actively encourage first-time exhibitors, and many classes are specifically for inexperienced exhibitors and children.
Our shows take place at:
St Francis of Assisi Church Hall
Charminster Road, Bournemouth BH8 9SH
2026 Show Dates
Spring Show – Tuesday 7 April 2026
Summer Show – Saturday 4 July 2026
Autumn Show – Saturday 12 September 2026
Shows are open to the public from 12 noon until 4.30pm. Admission is £1, with free entry for members and exhibitors.
What Can You Enter?
Our shows feature hundreds of classes across a wide range of gardening and creative categories, making them enjoyable for everyone.
Why Enter?
Taking part is fun, rewarding and a great way to meet fellow gardeners. Every exhibit helps make our shows a success, whether it's a single bloom, a basket of vegetables, a floral arrangement or a homemade cake.
There are no entry fees, numerous trophies and awards are presented throughout the year, and everyone receives a warm welcome.
New to Showing?
Don't be put off if you've never exhibited before. Our members are always happy to offer advice and encouragement, and many people who enter for the first time discover just how enjoyable exhibiting can be.
Simply choose a class that suits what you grow or make and bring along your exhibit on the day of the show.
We look forward to welcoming you to one of our Bournemouth in Bloom Horticultural Shows.
